About Elfcon

ELFCON was formed on March 4, 1991. With 3 big customers/shipping companies, ACL/Atlantic container Line, Wilhelmsen Lines, (now Wallenius Wilhelmsen), and Johnson Johnson Line/LASER Line (now Hamburg Sud) as basis, the activity was started up. Theese three companies are still present customers to ELFCON.

Over the years, new customers have chosen to work together with ELFON, such  StoraEnso, Cobelfret, Nordic Bulkers, Green Cargo, Port of Göteborg, Halléns, Renova, Cronos container and many more.

ELFCON has offices at two locations within Gothenburg's port, Älvsborgshamnen and Skandiahamnen. This is a big advantage for old and new customers since we are located where the shipping lines are.

ELFCON is very proud and honoured over that StoraEnso inquired ELFCON wheter we could help them with repairs in Belgium. As a consequence of this ELFCON now also has a repair facilitiy in Wielingen Dock Zeebrugge, Belgium.

ELFCON has become a coveted partner when it comes to repairs and welding works onboard on boats. Some customers that choose to have us onboard are for instance Wagenborg, Stena Line, Sol and Swedish News Agency's.

ELFCON sells second-hand and new storage - and overseas containers.

ELFCON can at demand perform ”ON HIRE INSPECTIONS” and” OFF HIRE INSPECTIONS” of containers.

The objective for ELFCON is to give a total service to our customers. Nothing is too small, nothing is too big. We employ today approximately 20 persons in Sweden and 4 in Belgium.
